Hello!

Welcome to my website! This started as a way to conserve the web content I created as a Youth Services Librarian from 2017-2020 since I worked so hard on it, but will hopefully become a resource for other Children's and Youth Librarians.

I should probably put an introduction of some kind here... My name is April and I have been a Youth Services or Children's Librarian since 2017. I received my BA in English with Secondary Education in 2013 from University of NC Wilmington and my MLIS in 2016 from University College Dublin. I am currently pursuing an Associate's in IT - Web Development as a way to formalize my web content experience. (I could put on my resume that I learned HTML on Neopets in middle school... but that's not as impressive.)

I was inspired to create a site like this by Storytime Katie and Jbrary after using their resources for many years.

This site is still very much a work in progress (I finally started writing it for a class project, can you believe?) and hopefully I will also be able to add some travel blog stories as well.
